Sewing
Purpose of this programme
Pory Exclusive Tailoring in partnership with Kenako Jwale Skills Development is catering for everyone who wants to learn to sew. Whether it is to make your own custom-made clothing, or to simply hem a pair of pants or sew on a button.
Our courses are designed to teach sewing skills right from the basics through to advanced levels, progressively building sewing skills. The courses are hands-on where sewers learn by ‘doing’.
Our mission is to give people a skill that they can take away with them having gained the confidence to sew and create garments on their own.
This beginner course is the perfect starter for those new to sewing and if you are looking to give your sewing confidence a boost and it is facilitated by Siyabonga Kunene a self taught Fashion Designer specializing Street Wear.
Course fee includes:
- Fabric & patterns, guided instruction, printed notes, refreshments (tea, coffee)
- All lessons include use of sewing tools in the training centre.
