About Us

Company

History

Kenako Jwale, a Sotho name meaning, “The time is now” is a women-led business operating as a PTY Ltd Company. The business was founded in August 2012, but officially registered with
the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) in February 2016.
It was in response to the lack of skills training to capacitate youth to be
able to access the job market and become self reliant.

In a safe and professional environment Kenako Jwale offers ambitious
individuals from Soweto and surrounding areas in Gauteng Outcome Based Skills Development Training. The training we provide is a result of requests and needs from the local community and its entrepreneurs. Therefore our courses will quickly lead to economic activity, and our students can generate an income and provide for themselves and their families.

Mission

Our mission is to develop and empower individuals through systematic and structured, mainly practical (vocational) training

We aim to ultimately link them up with our development
partners by way of career, study and business opportunities

Our
Vision

Our vision is to become a one-stop youth and community
development organisation to alleviate poverty is the driving
force behind our company vision.
To provide a holistic and sustainable Youth Skills Development
programme for unemployed youth from challenging
backgrounds so that they can contribute to a successful and
prosperous and non discriminatory South Africa, of which we
can all be proud.
